Inspiration doesn't all come from the same place, does it?

A few weeks ago I finished reading Rick Rubin's book - The Creative Act, which I recommend to all creatives. He talks about a place where inspiration lives, which is more or less above our heads and it comes down to us if we are receptive to it.

When I started to think about this new piece that I want to present to you, I gathered everything I used to create it. I discovered that I have material that never runs out and what inspired me were the customs and ways of using objects - which happened to be the topic of my master's thesis, back in 2014.

It's curious to realize that we are the sum of all our parts, even if they are so different from each other.

These photos were taken by me over the last 10 years or so, and they inspired this new piece, even if unconsciously.
